This project focused on manufacturing processes. I designed and created a physical model for a drone, with consideration for ease of and viability of mass manufacture.
The model was developed through creating designs on Solidworks and running stress analysis tests on ANSYS. The results would then be considered when making further iterations to optimize the safety of the drone. The physical model was created using a variety of processes such as plasma cutting, vacuum forming, welding as well as 3D printing for the main aesthetic of the drone; the barriers.
